Francesco Fossati (1985) is visual artist and curator, lives and works between Milan and Macherio.

In 2008 he recived the BFA in Painting from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Brera, Milan, and from the same institution in 2010 received the MFA in Painting.

In 2008 he took part in the 1st Festival Internazionale dell’ Arte Contemporanea, directed by Carlos Basualdo, Pier Luigi Sacco and Angela Vettese, in Faenza, Italy.

In 2009 he is the artist selected by ARTHUB (a project of the association Free to take part in the artist-in-residency program organized by the Dena Foundation For Contemporary Art in Paris at the Centre International d'Accueil et d'Echanges des Récollets.

In 2010 he initiated the project that led the rebirth of the artist-run magazine E IL TOPO, a publishing project born in 1992, from an idea by Gabriele Di Matteo, Vedovamazzei, Franco Silvestro and Piero Gatto, and originally ended in 1996

In 2013 he is the moderator of the series of roundtables titled Punti di Fuga, dove si incontrano le prospettive (Vanishing points, where the points of view converge), project for the creation of a contemporary art network
